ACE Youth Musical Theatre is a group which has been formed by Anthony, Cathy and Edward Court to produce and stage WANTED The Legend of Robin Hood. This is an original musical with the music, orchestrations, lyrics and book all written by Edward Court.
Tony, Ed’s Dad, is a Chartered Accountant and has a love of musical theatre, performing in a variety of roles in local Operatic Societies including Witham Operatic Society, Springers, Trinity Methodist Music and Drama and Colchester Operatic Society. For this production he is taking a number backstage roles, including managing the finances and running the sound.
Cathy, who has co-directed and choreographed the musical, had professional dance training at Arts Educational School, Tring and Laine Theatre Arts. She went on to teach at Laine, London College of Dance and Drama and a number of dance schools around the country. For the last twenty years she has been involved with performing arts and amateur theatre choreographing and directing, working on small and large-scale productions for youth and adults.
Ed, who has dreamed of directing his own musical since a very young age, has been lucky to have had the experienced support of his parents in the production of the show, but it is down to his composing talents and dedication that this show is on the road.
